With over 25 years of experience in the Automotive Recycling Industry, Mike Lambert is an an expert in yard management systems (YMS). His career began in 1985 when he ran two salvage yards in Colorado until 1989. Armed with experience in salvage, electrical engineering, and computer chip fabrication, Mike was hired by Hollander in 1989, where he worked for over 8 years. Over the years at Hollander, Mike was fortunate enough to work on the largest systems and perform dozens of regional training classes. If you or your staff attended a Hollander training class between 1990 and 1997, Mike probably conducted the class. In 1997, Mike started Lambert Consulting and put his extensive knowledge of the industry to use in his own business. With many regular clients but still more to offer, Mike teamed up with John Johnson Jr. in 2003 to start Buddy Automotive Innovations. Buddy Automotive Innovations, a software solutions company, offers handheld technology to Professional Automotive Recyclers. Popular products include Inventory Buddy, Bid Buddy, Core Buddy and NMVTIS Buddy.
